Castle of Roccabianca was constructed during the mid 15th Century. According to local folklore the Lord Pier Maria Rossi dedicated it to his lover Bianca Pellegrini where the name of the town originated from. Set in the courtyard opposite the entrance are two watchtowers above the walls. The interior of the castle had some valuable ceilings that were frescoed by the artist Niccolò da Varallo depicting the stories of Griselda and the astrological cycle. Commissioned by Pier Maria Rossi they were torn down and transferred in 1897 to the Castello Sforzesco Museum in Milan.
