The Basilica of S. Antonino in Sorrento dates back to the 11th Century but there was an earlier oratory on the site around the 9th Century. Some parts of the church appear to have come from earlier buildings, including the columns, which was taken from one of the Roman villas in the area. The south portal has interesting Byzantine-Romanesque forms dating from the 10th Century. The crypt has many small pictures and the 18th Century crib is of the San Martino School.
