This Basilica dell’Osservanza is a truly beautiful building. It is sited on top of the Capriola hill which is just outside the walls and since it was built in the 15th Century, has undergone many renovations. Most of the renovation work was done out of necessity, such as after being damaged by bombing during WWII. Inside this lovely church are works of art by Andrea della Robbia and the tomb of Francesco di Giorgio Martini.
