Part of the old monastery is now occupied by the Museo Civico Archeologico. Visitors here can also access the Roman amphitheatre. The museum was founded by G. Sordini in 1910, and was originally next to Palazzo della Signoria. It includes both Roman and Romanesque finds which were discovered in the area. Other exhibits include two 3rd Century BC stone tablets with inscriptions forbidding the felling of trees in the sacred wood of Monteluco. The Romanesque display has a 12th or 13th Century bas-relief of the martyrdom of St Biagio from the church of San Nicolò.
