This is a small art gallery and shop for period objects in one of Trieste’s most attractive area. Al Bastione Gallery is located in the part of the old town which stands testament to the city’s distant past. It’s one of the few galleries that display valuable works from the 18th and early 19th Century. It is hard not to be impressed by these works, or at least by the atmosphere that prevails here. It really is worth a visit, as is the area itself, which is a real goldmine for browsers and lovers of good quality antiques.
