The Palazzo Chigi Saracini houses the Rococo style concert hall, the Accademia Musicale Chigiana. It has been in the hands of the Fondazione Accademia Musicale Chigiana since 1965, after the death of Count Guido Chigi Saracini, the former owner of the building who founded the hall in 1932. Amongst the events held here is a summer season of classical concerts. There is also a small but excellent art collection which includes work by Donatello, Botticelli and Sassetta.
