The Villa Emo-La Montecchia is one of most fanciful of the 16th Century. It was the Capodilista family who commissioned Dario Varotari the painter, architect and a follower of Paolo Veronese, to come up with a plan around 1570 for this exquisite villa. It stands on a small hill overlooking the city and lets you enjoy some breathtaking views of the surrounding area. It is probably one of the finest examples of an original 16th Century Villa of the Veneto region.
