The Town Hall building dominates the main city square of Peschiera del Garda. It is made up of 3 storeys and has attractive arched doorways. There is a clock on the roof top which is worth seeing especially when the beaks of two bronze eagles strike the hour. The outside of the building is unusual with its many wall tablets. These plaques relay many of the major historical facts in the town’s history as well as acting as a memorial to local people who were killed in the battle for independence.
