The Tempio della Vittoria is a marble monument opened in 1928 on the tenth anniversary of Vittorio Veneto. It is dedicated by the people of Milan to those who lost their lives in WWI. It was built to the designs of Giovanni Muzio in collaboration with Alberto Alpago Novello, Ottavio Cabiati and Giò Ponti. It is octagonal in shape with three floors and with a wide range of materials used in its construction. There are many monuments adorning it from the ’Mausoleo di Teodorico’ to the ’Rosa dei Venti di Atene’.
