Milan’s Teatro degli Arcimboldi is a very modern auditorium which has seating for 2,375 spectators. The seats are distributed on two levels - in the stalls, and two circles. This fairly new theatre is fast becoming an important venue for music and opera in Milan. The building was created under the Bicocca Project – the aim to improve the whole quarter in the northern district of the city. It opened its doors on 19 January 2002. This is a huge structure which occupies an area of around 6,500 sq m.
