The Scoletta del Carmine was started in the 14th Century and re-built in Renaissance style by Lorenzo da Bologna and was finished in the 18th Century. The front is by G. Gloria and features a tympanum portal decorated with two saints and the Virgin by G. Bonazza. There are frescoes the work of Girolamo Tessarri, like The Expulsion of Joachim from the Temple, the Apparition of the Angel of Joachim, The Holy Family of Nazareth and other works by the artist Giulio Campagnola.
