This park is situated in the centre of the city and has facilities for sports and games as well as a being a place to relax. It’s also used as the venue for the Umbria Jazz Festival. The whole area is dominated by the Santa Guliana monastery, founded in 1523 and currently the home of the Army School of Foreign Languages. The original landscaping of the park area was to a plan by Porcinai. In 1994, following the Via Orsini canalisation works in the tunnel, the park was again redesigned.
