The Santa Chiara Museum of Art Works is situated in the 14th Century complex of Santa Chiara. It holds works that are part of the monastery or which come from other Franciscan convents dissolved in the 19th Century. Remains of 1st and 2nd Century baths can be seen here as well as the convent’s history shown through curios and sculptures which depict the stories of Saint Catherine by Pacio Bestini. Tino di Camaino’s reliefs of the Crucifixion and the Visitation and works in wood by Giovanni da Nola can also be viewed.
