The church of San Michele Arcangelo is a very pretty building in an extremely beautiful setting. The origins of this unusual circular stone church date back to the late 5th Century. It is thanks to some very extensive restoration work, which included the removal of the Baroque additions, that major parts of the original church are now visible. This includes a 14th Century Gothic doorway and an interior that is richly decorated in 14th Century frescoes.
