The church of San Lorenzo de Arari was built in the 13th Century. This church, in a Romanesque style, was taken down from its original site near a Franciscan convent because the sound of the ringing bells was a distraction to the friars. There are some interesting Etruscan pieces here. The name derives from the altar which in turn is supported by an Etruscan altar and a beautiful 12th Century ciborium. The church has many frescos, including the Life of St Lawrence.
