The lovely San Lorenzo Church became the parish church of Pozzolengo in 1510. It was re-designed in 1740 and a central dome added with thirty-six marble columns supported by stone pedestals with Corinthian capitals. There is a central nave and a beautiful altar decorated with marble and precious stones - the Gonzaga altar piece by Father Andrea Pozzo (1642-1707). The façade is Neo-classical and the impressive bronze door which measures 4.61 meters tall, 2.33 meters wide was sculpted by Don Luciano Carnessali. The 17th Century organ is by Antegnati and paintings include those by Brusasorci, Andrea Celesti and Gabriele Rettondini.
