The San Barnaba Parish Church was rebuilt in 1660 on the site of an earlier church that had been there in 1000. The interior houses many paintings and furnishings dating back to the 18th Century and are magnificent to view. Jacopo Antonio Manini, who built the architectural parts and adorned them with shelves and garlands, also painted the vault. Sigismondo Caula is credited with painting the six medallions with allegoric themes and chiaroscuro shields.
