The Margherita di Savoia Saltworks Museum houses a range of industrial archaeological relics. These include the tools and machines for salt gathering, transport and processing, also meteorological and electrical tools. There are salt samples from the S. Margherita di Savoia salt works, which was the most important salt works operating in the 3rd Century B.C. There are many documents on the production and process techniques used in the salt plants since they were first established and are fascinating to read. Among the objects displayed are evaporigraphs, and bronze and cast-iron moulds.
