The Parco Ducale is a green space in the centre of the town, with age-old trees. This impressive green architecture was designed and established around 1560 and enlarged in the early 1700s. The park, which is a paradise for generations of families and their children, is also where you can find the Palazzetto Eucherio Sanvitale built by Giorgio da Erba in 1520 and of the old Palazzo Ducale. At the park’s main entrance, opposite the Ponte Verdi, is the Sileno group, by Jean Baptiste Boudard that is one of this French sculptor’s most important works.
