The Parco di Villa Litta was designed in 1687 along with the suburban villa of the Marquis Corbella. Towards 1800 the property passed to the Family Litta Modigliani. Then towards the middle of the 1900s the famous botanist Ercole Silva transformed the gardens that were, until then, in the romantic English style, to a classic Italian style garden. The park is crisscrossed by cycle paths and has an area dedicated to children’s games. The Villa houses the Civic Centre and the local library.
