The Palazzo dell’Arte is the historic home of the Triennale institution and was designed by Giovanni Muzio in 1932-33. There are a series of halls within the building that are used for temporary exhibitions. These displays are laid out in a series of sections that end up in a semi circular building which houses the theatre. The façade, with its very distinctive marble portal, gives an impression of vastness because of the proportions and the contrast with the brickwork.
