The Museum of Ethnoprehistory is part of the Neapolitan Section of the Alpine Italian Club. It was established in 1972, and can be found in some halls of Castel dell’Ovo - a group of buildings which date from the Norman period. On display at the museum are prehistoric tools, fossils, ceramic finds and ethnographical material. Of note is the Villanovian collection which consists of archaeological finds from the town of Catena (Upper Latium). Access to this museum is on request and admission is free.
