The Museo del Cinema Collezioni della Cineteca Italiana is home to many historical and technical relics of the cinema. It also documents the influences and themes with many costumes and art. There is much documentation and film equipment from the evolution of cinematography machines from 1700 and the 1800s. There are also posters from Italian, French and American cinemas from 1950 to 1930, depicting actors such as Dudovich and Mucha. One exhibit that should not be missed is the film and projection machine invented by the Lumière brothers that dates from 1895.
