Museo Cenacolo Vinciano
Piazza Santa Maria Delle Grazie, 2 Milan 20123 - Italy

Map

The Museo Cenacolo Vinciano is housed in the antique rooms of the rectory which adjoins the Church of Santa Maria Delle Grazie. In the interior along the back walls is the famous ‘Last Supper’ painted by Leonardo da Vinci between 1495 and 1497. Unfortunately the painting technique used by da Vinci, as well as the environmental conditions has made preserving the masterpiece very difficult. It has recently been re-opened for viewing after a very long, delicate and controversial restoration.
