The Museo Artistico Industriale has over 6,000 items of tableware, ceramic panels, metal, woodwork, and jewellery. Many of these were produced in the school’s workshops from 1882 which has an antique ceramics section with a considerable collection. Some of the exhibits are very rare, like glazed ceramic statues of Egyptian deities that date from the 10th Century B.C. to the Ptolemaic period. The majority of the exhibition space is dedicated to work produced in Italy, with one of the rooms having panels and tiles of Persian, Turkish and Syrian manufacture, as well as articles from Holland, Germany and Spain.
