The House of the Great Fountain has a wonderful mosaic and a fountain decorated with shells and coloured glass which can be seen from the street. This well known mosaic is reminiscent of a pattern on an Eastern carpet and appears to have Egyptian influences. There are theatrical masks which are made from marble at the sides and the water once flowed down the steps behind the statue of a boy holding a dolphin in his arms.
