Travelling from Como and on through Cernobbio on the upper road, you enter the village of Moltrasio. This little village is crammed with interest such as the Villa Passalacqua, a late 18th Century building. The villa was once called the Palace of Moltrasio and the famous composer Vicenzo Bellini stayed here for some time. There is also a very pretty little Romanesque church here dedicated to Santa Agata which was constructed at the end of the 11th Century and which has a fine campanile.
