Molina di Ledro is a small town situated along the river Ponale on Lake Ledro. Its main claim to fame is the Bronze Age pile-dwellings settlement which came to light in 1929. The museum displays various historical objects and illustrates how the old Ledro inhabitants lived. There are educational activities aimed at both students and adults, with guided tours that include flint splintering and ceramic mixing workshops. The town centre and the older parts of the neighbouring hamlets are built in the characteristic style of the area, although many houses were rebuilt or renovated after WWI.
