One of Menfi’s top attractions is the remnants of a Swabian Castle with its polygonal tower. The Palazzo Pignatelli was erected during the 1600s and has a fragment of the ancient Castello Svevo. Other buildings of note in the town include the Mother Church which was built in the 18th Century though it was partially destroyed by an earthquake, and the Chiesa di Gesù e Maria, which dates back to 1700 and has some wonderful high-relief work.
