The Fountain of the Two Rivers is a monument to the rivers it represents in Modena, designed and built by Giuseppe Graziosi. It’s an attractive piece, with two bronze statues depicting the Secchia River in female figures and the Panaro River in male figures directing their jets of water towards the respective watercourses. It is sited in the Largo Garibaldi and was inaugurated on the 25th July 1938 at the same time as the new town’s waterworks came into operation.
