Annexed in part of the Palazzo del Priori in 1443 is the Collegio del Cambio - headquarters to Perugia’s moneychangers’ guild. It was decorated by Perugino who selected an array of Christian, classical and secular virtues for the walls and planetary gods for the ceiling. Story has it the Perugino’s pupil, the 17 year-old Raphael, posed for the figure of the Prophet Daniel. There are some wonderful frescoes to see here and beautiful woodwork by Domenico del Tasso and Antonio Bencivenni da Mercatello.
