Located on the first floor since 1980, the City Library is the oldest public library in Parma. The Northwest wing of the Ospedale Vecchio dates back to the 18th Century. Although it is a general public library it has a collection of old and contemporary documents, and is a haven for those whose passion is reading and is worth a visit for the amount of leaflets and Pamphlets which are a mine of information on leisure and free time activities in the Parma area.
