Dating from the 16th Century the Church of the Holy Spirit has decoration by Michelangelo Naccherino. This includes sculptures that can be seen at the entrance to the nave and in the fourth chapel on the left. Mario Gioffredo undertook the reconstruction work in the 18th Century. In the apse there are paintings by Francesco de Mura which date from the same time as the paintings by Fedele Fischetti near the altar just to the right transept. The church has one of the most elegant cupolas in the city.
