Built in a Romanesque style, the church of Saint Maria di Maniace dates back to the 12th Century. Inside there are three naves with arches supported by columns of lavic stone, both round and hexagonal. There are two good sculptures here and an attractive altar decorated with foliage as well as relief figures which are fashioned from marble. The exterior of the church comprises irregular stones of different sizes and colours, bricks and crushed stone.
