The Church of San Benedetto was completed in 1649. It has a single nave and side chapels and has retained many of its original furnishings. There are several 18th Century paintings and a gilded wood altar of the same period as well as gravestones of the founder, Prince Don Francesco Branciforte, his three sons and his brother. On the sides of the transept are two 18th Century marble altars and a 17th Century wooden coloured statue of Our Lady of Rosary. The presbytery was rebuilt in 1725 and has a high-altar of marble and a precious wooden choir of 1735.
