Chiesa della Madonna del Carmine incorporates the remains of a former 14th Century church dedicated to the Virgin of Mercy. The large presbytery is in Romanesque style with two walls housing magnificent single-lancet windows. The centre wall is made up of three apses and the vault is covered in frescoes. The church has one nave, which dates back to the 16th Century, with four arcades each side. Much renovation work has been undertaken over the centuries; the 1892 façade is Neo-classical while inside the church has a Baroque appearance.
