The Bottacin Museum is housed in the Palazzo Zuckerman, though the museum has been moved three times in its 135 years history. The museum holds the entire collection of Nicola Bottacin, a wealthy merchant who in 1865 gave his entire works of art and numismatic collections from his home in Trieste to the city of Padova. He had collected things like paintings, furniture, Chinese ceramics, antique weapons and loads of other items to decorate his villa. These are set out in a near copy of the original Bottacin home settings.
