Probably one of Parma’s best known commodities is the Parma Violet. The Borsari Museum is devoted to this famous fragrance and is on the list of ‘must-see’ attractions for many of the city’s visitors. The museum is concerned with a number of perfumes but in particular the Parma Violet and the history of the Borsari agency who have produced it. The agency was founded in 1870 and the museum displays art and graphics linked the famous scent.
