The Sanctuary of the Blessed Virgin of Peace in St. Agnes, built in neo-gothic style was erected in 1919 and enlarged in 1967. On the façade you can see five beautiful stained glass windows, but once inside you’ll be drawn to the magnificent altar and a painting by the artist Mundici, and there is an impressive crucifix that hangs from the ceiling over the altar. The altar itself is an embossed copper construction by Prof. Nicola Sebastio, with artistic tablets displaying the Stations of the Cross on the side.
