This archaeological tourist route starts at the Grotta di Seiano at the end of the Coroglio descent. The route follows a tunnel through about 770 metres of the tufo Posillipo hill, joining the area of Bagnoli and Campi Flegrei to Gaiola valley. Created around 2000 years ago, the tunnel was reinforced during the Bourbon era. The way is lit by shafts of sunlight which filters through openings. The tunnel leads to the area of Villa di Vedio Pollone where there are superb views. Tours of the tunnels last about an hour and can be booked by telephone.
