Villa Comoedia was once the home of Elder and Younger Pliny. It is built in a fertile area which has an abundance of luxuriance growth, the result of Lenno being near the start of the Tremezzina and Azalean Rivers. The whole area was once covered with orange trees, lemon trees, Magnolias and laurels and it is said the brothers built their villa here because they could catch fish from the bedroom. There is not too much left to see of the villa, but excavated remains can be viewed in the Como Museum.
