The Tremiti Islands are very easy to reach from Foggia by helicopter and from the main coastal areas by motorboat or hydrofoil. The Tremiti Islands include the San Domino Island where the cliffs alternate with sandy inlets, caves and protected bays cut into the rock. The San Nicola Island and Capraia Island coastline have rock arches known as Architielli and two the cliffs, Cretaccio and Vecchia. There are many formations carved by the waves such as Scoglio dell’Elefante, as well as natural parks like the Architello. There are many diving centres along these islands that organise excursions.
