In the Speleological Museum in L’Aquila visitors can experience an instructive insight into the science of speleology. The display space here is split into several different sections and covers such things as: geology and karst phenomena, mineralogy and palaeontology as well as the birth and evolution of man, prehistory of the Aterno valley and speleological photography. The things on show here come from the Abruzzo grottoes as well as from all over the world
