The Romanesque church of San Michele Arcangelo is located just outside the village of San Vittorino. Built over catacombs, it is believed the underground tomb of San Vittorino was started around the 6th Century BC. Inside the church there is an inscription which tells visitors the church was built at the will of Bishop Quodvultdeus. Local legend has it that a water spring, which is active between April and August, has the power to treat certain ailments.
