The Palazzo Carafa or Palazzo di Città was once a convent of the Paolotte order and is now the home of the Town Hall. It was designed by Emanuele Manieri. A bishop renovated it in the 18th Century and by the second half of the 19th Century it became a college for women. By 1895 the Municipality had bought it and during the renovation works of 1917 the old chapel against the building was demolished to make way for the council hall.
