The hamlet of Pacengo became a part of the Lazise municipality in 1811. The parish church here is dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and was remodelled in neo-classical style in the late 18th Century. The church was designed by architect Leonardo Rossi and has a fine altar piece and interesting frescoes by Pio Piatti and Marcantonio Bassetti. Pacengo also has the Villa Gemma Brenzoni built 18th - 19th Century, 18th Century Villa Balladoro De Beni and the 19th Century Villa Alberti, all are set in beautiful gardens.
