This museum is another part of the Monastery of San Giuliano complex. The exhibits are displayed over 3 floors; the ground floor shows typical Abruzzo mountain and woodland habitatS through a series of dioramas. On the floor above are archaeological remains of all the great civilizations of the Mediterranean coastline, with mosaics in the form of geographical maps. There are also 17th-19th Century paintings, as well as scrolls and volumes of sacred Coptic art relating to the Christogram of 1426. Funeral decorations of the Etruscans and ancient Egyptians are held at the museum as well as a section on entomology.
