There are many sites of historical interest for visitors to Licodia Eubea. These include the remains of a medieval castle. In 1392 this ancient castle was granted to the Santapau family who were in possession until the 16th Century, when it passed under the dominion of Lord Vincenzo Ruffo. After the 1693 earthquake which devastated the town the castle was gradually restored though now only ruins remain. Other buildings include the Palazzo Vassallo with its fine Baroque doorway, the Palazzo Municipale, and the 18th Century Chiesa del Rosario.
