The Convent of the Olivetans can be found by walking past the Viale dell’Università, the Obelisk and Napoli Door, and passing along a tree-lined avenue. This avenue ends at huge Doric propylaea which leads to the local cemetery and above this is perched the convent. Once inside you can gain entry to the Department of History and Art of the Faculty of Cultural Heritage and Literature of the University of Studies of Lecce. This is a unique place providing wonderful examples of Salento art.
