The Cathedral Church is located in the western part of Licodia Eubea, and dedicated to Santa Margherita. The date of its construction is unknown but it was rebuilt after the 1693 earthquake, when all but a wing was destroyed. The façade is Baroque and the interior is divided into three naves with six arcades which rest on columns with Corinthian capitals. There is some fine stucco work and also worthy of note are the chapels. One is dedicated to Santa Margherita and another to Sant’Antonio Abate.
